We (FCR) power international multidisciplinary artists on their way to Fulldome Format. Since we made the Future Ruhr film, we felt the need to open our test sessions at ZEISS Planetarium Bochum for independent artists to expand the State of the Arts in Fulldome. Many thanks to their great Team!
"To explore other formats and thanks to our transatlantic collaboration with FCR, we took these three in-house co-productions to the Zeiss Planetarium Bochum in Germany.
The dome represents a different format that makes us think of the celestial dome and Spaceship Earth, we are on the right track to get out of the rectangle." - Esteban Azuela, CEO Linea2

On May 2023, we had the visit of sound artist @sophienej_josephine and visual artist @simonlazarus84 from Paris, whom we met during the @rencontres.audiovisuelles 6th Video Mapping Festival
Josephine and Simon are working on a Live participatory experience called "MANITOU360" which will be presented at the @sat_montreal in November this year.
As independent artists, working with fulldome content means low chances for testing your content on a dome and getting the true experience of fulldome creation. Therefore we decided to share with the "MANITOU360" team our dome testing time at @planetarium.bochum
About MANITOU360: By bringing together an aesthetic inspired by digital cultures and the timelessness of myths, MANITOU360 explores new ways of writing, telling, and listening by trying to divert the traditional frontal relationship to the image and figurative representations.

They worked with leaves, flowers, butterflies, and prisms under the eye of a Lab microscope.
